Since the Cataclysmic Kittens(¹) happened we had to change some very old and nice habits, Picù is adapting, not happy but adapting.
The bed is a comfortable enough substitute for the sofa apparently.

              My friend is now a foster parent! Someone left this beautiful trio of kittens on her front porch. Of course she calls me 😄 We set them up and will get them flea meds, dewormers, and vaccinations. Kittens landed in a good spot 🐱

                                                                                                                                                                            We’ve received the results of her CT scan with contrast.The doctors discovered severe inflammation, all her cavities are filled with pus. The eye that wasn’t affected by the tumor on CT is now at risk, because of the infection. She has already started on strong antibiotics, which she’ll need for at least three weeks, maybe longer.The good news: there are no metastases! Once the inflammation is under control, she can move forward with chemo.

                                                                                                                                                                                        I hear today is , so here are two cats from my past: Puppy (the larger one, on the red blanket) and Tuna Toes.

                                                                                                                                                                                        Both were neighborhood strays, and thus outdoor cats. Over time I was able to convince Puppy to at least be an indoor/outdoor cat, but no such luck with Tuna Toes, who came into my life quite a bit later than Puppy.

                                                                                                                                                                                              On milder winter days she ventures out onto the balcony for maybe a minute but her favourite thing to do is watch the world from my bedroom window ledge. She’ll happily do it from her cat tower nearby but the faux-grass platform is her fave in the summer.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  The humans have been moving things around, and Millie (Norfolk, UK) immediately came to test out the new position of her cat tower. Luckily, she loved it and settled down to lick herself, so her humans do not have to try again.
