Can any of you make these animal hug socks? I don't know how much time it would take, or the cost of materials and the pattern, but they are really popular all of a sudden. I think they would look so cute to wear around the house. I've seen them in sloth, rabbit, panda, red tailed panda, koala, axolotl, bunny, bat, cow, dinosaur, raccoon, and tiger.

I would happily purchase these from an independent small business knitter. I would NOT buy them from a big company. (They won't be as nice as the picture anyway.)

Edited to say that it did not occur to me, but the image could certainly be A.I. generated in order to trick the consumer into buying an inferior product. What I am wondering is if it's possible to make this and have it look like the picture?

Knitted socks that include a plush knitted cute animal sewn in a way to suggest that it is hugging your leg and doesn't want to let go of you, like it loves you. There is a purple and pink bat version complete with spread wings, a panda bear version in black and white, a brown and cream sloth, a too plain white bunny rabbit, a red tailed panda with cream accents, an adorable gray koala, a cat in a Día de los Muertos style for some reason but very cute kitty cat, and even an axolotl in a creamy orange color.

All of this tooting about sewing reminded me that I had one more drawer with some of my Mom's crochet work. These are pieces she made when she was older shortly before she lost her sight.
Even after she was blind she continued to crochet blankets by the gazillion. The blankets are long since dispersed to friends and relatives.
Now what to do with these?
I will double check with my daughter and grandkids but am pretty sure they will need to find a home elsewhere. They aren't really into accumulating stuff that they don't find useful. The exceptions are paintings and unique antique clocks. These won't fit either of those categories.
