Ukrainian Defender Stanislav Panchenko defended Ukraine since 2017.

In 2019, he was taken into Russian captivity.

A small kitten was brought into the colony where Stanislav was held. He named the kitten Myshko.

Myshko and Stanislav spent 4.5 years in the colony together. Finally, Stanislav was exchanged in August, after almost seven years in a Russian prison. He took Myshko with him.

Melody is a chubby torbie, a tortoise shell tabby. She has yellow-green eyes, an orange nose, four white paws and a white tummy and bib. She spent part of her life as a stray, so is very independent with a food-first attitude. She should lose a pound or two. She is in a kitty loaf position inside her scratching box, refusing to look up at the camera which Mom has put a bit above her unhappy face. Her glorious colors are on display, with her white whiskers showing well. The background includes a bit of her little cardboard cat house and a bit of a red rug with some random black splats.

Pleased to see that the most tranquil TV programming on the planet, NHK’s ‘A Cat’s Eye View of Japan’, is back. Cute kitties, gentle music, superb photography and a mini lesson in Japanese history and geography - each episode is five minutes of pure joy. Probably should have posted this on #Caturday … (1/2)

Two years ago I taught my cat to ring a bell for food. In the first year he only rang it at reasonable meal intervals. Then he started a pattern of ringing but not eating, instead jogging to another room. I took the bell away whenever he did that, and he started rattling dishes purposefully—but not eating. It took me a while to figure out that each time he didn’t eat, he went to look at the drawer where we keep the cat dancer/flirt toys. Now I have to get a different bell for playtime! #Caturday

Visto che ho menzionato una gatta che chiamavamo la Grande Guerra, ho trovato anche due foto per un #Caturday in ritardo.
Nella prima foto la Grande Guerra è la gatta madre, non il gattino.
La seconda è un po' sfuocata. Ma siccome correva l'anno 198x e le fotografie si facevano, si sviluppavano dopo qualche tempo e poi ci si accorgeva che erano venute male, non è più possibile fare una foto nuova.
